What's new at St. Thomas More?
St. Thomas More community is growing. A global project of expansion is on the study to offer more space for our church and build a definitive structure for our school in order to replace the old portables that we currently use. They serve their purposes, but for how long?
A big project
The project includes three phases:
Preparatory step: extension of the sacristy with four extra altars for the daily masses.
Phase one: construction of a parish hall and bathroom complex.
Phase two: construction of the K-8 Academy classrooms to accommodate the estimated 100 students.
Phase three: modification of the actual church to double the capacity of attendees.
The Altar and Rosary Society, a church group open to all ladies of goodwill, is happy and proud to contribute to the funding of this great project. How rewarding it is to collaborate to the formation of the future Catholic leaders who will come from our school. Building a school is not only building the future of our families, but it is also building the future of our country and of the Church.
