On October 7, 1571, the Holy League's fleet, arranged by Pope Pius V, inflicted a major defeat on the fleet of the Ottoman Empire. In gratitude to the intervention of Our Lady, St. Pius V established the Feast of the Holy Rosary of Our Lady of Victory.

One of the priests of the SSPX Priory at Sanford drives every weekend to South Florida in order to serve Our Lady of Victory Church in Davie and St. Philomena community from Miami. Two other priests go to WestPalm Beach and Fort Myers.

30-Year Dedication

Priests of the Society of Saint Pius X have been serving regularly at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Davie and Shrine of St. Philomena in Miami, where the Traditional Latin Mass has been celebrated for over 30 years at both locations.

Providential Growth

Since merging Our Lady of Victory with the Shrine of St. Philomena earlier this year, many new families have joined our church. Today our little church is very old and in need of many expensive repairs. And even with three Masses on Sunday, we simply are no longer able to handle the number of people attending Mass. It is time to build a new home.

Operation Lepanto

Our Fundraising effort "Operation Lepanto" is under the Patronage of Our Lady of Victory, so powerful today as she has been at Lepanto in 1570!
Please help us with a generous donation that will help realize our goal of building a new church that will bring glory and honor to God for generations to come.
